Thomas Sotto, journalist

Born in Paris on July 2, 1973, Thomas Sotto is a journalist, television presenter and radio host. After graduating from the Institut Français de Presse, he joined RMC radio as a reporter in 1995. Four years later, he joined the world of television to present a television news program aimed at young people on the Canal J channel. The experience quickly ends due to a motorcycle accident. Thomas Sotto reappears on the air on Série Club, then France 3 Limousin-Poitou-Charente and finally France 3, to present The news is yours @, again a newspaper made for young viewers, in the company of Peggy Olmi.

After participating in the launch of the Direct 8 channel and hosting the morning show for a few months in 2005, Thomas Sotto saw a second launch with the birth of BFM TV, a continuous news channel. First a field reporter, he quickly made a place for himself on the set. He finds himself propelled presenter of several sections of news, BFM Soir, QG and QG of 20 hours. In 2011, his career took on a new dimension. M6 is looking for a replacement for Guy Lagache to present Capital, one of his flagship shows. Thomas Sotto is the lucky one and he officiates at the helm of the show until June 2014, when he decides to devote himself solely to radio and the morning show of Europe 1 which he has been hosting since 2013 replacing by Bruce Toussaint.
