Following the recall of various brands of goat cheese logs, two pizzas are the subject of a product recall. The latter would contain metallic foreign bodies.
After the Buitoni scandal, pizzas are once again in the spotlight! This Monday, September 12, different brands of goat logs have been recalled due to the presence of metallic foreign bodies.
A few hours after the publication of the goat cheese recalls, other products are added to the list: pizzas sold at Leclerc. Two pizzas, one with 4 cheeses and the other with goat cheese, were prepared with the recalled cheeses. Be careful !
Which products are affected?
The recall concerns the goat cheese pizza 28 cm and the pizza 4 cheeses 600 gr sold at Leclerc. These products were marketed between 09/03/2022 and 09/08/2022, in the Leclerc Tourlaville (15) and Montbéliard (25) stores. The reason for his recall: presence of metallic foreign bodies.
The supplier informs that these two preparations used Sainte-Maure goat cheese subject to a product recall “due to a risk of the presence of metallic foreign bodies”. Their consumption would present risk of injury and adverse health effects.
The two products concerned are:
- GTIN 0209225000000, Lots manufactured on September 8 and 9, 2022, Use-by date between 09/12/2022 and 09/13/2022
- GTIN 0209039000000, All lots, Use-by date between 05/09/2022 and 10/09/2022
What if you have it at home?
If you have one of these pizzas at home, the Conso Reminder website (the government site which lists all the recalls of finished products intended for consumers) advises to do not consume itto destroy it or take it back to the store at the nearest point of sale in order to proceed with a refund.
