The first UK Apple Store with a dedicated pick-up area will open

Apple will open tomorrow at an Apple Store in Brompton Road, one of the streets in London, and the group shared a preview of the store with some photos, as well as a description.

A pick-up area in an Apple Store in London

This Apple Store in Brompton Road will have the distinction of being the manufacturer’s first store in the UK to have a dedicated pick-up area. This concerns people who place an order on the Apple Store online and pick it up at the store, rather than having it delivered to their home or workplace. This can be interesting depending on the stocks available in shops and warehouses.

Note that this will be the first UK Apple Store to have a pick-up area, but others in different countries already have them. In 2021 alone, this was notably the case in the United States (New York, Los Angeles), Germany (Berlin), South Korea (Seoul) and others.

Other design aspects of the Apple Store Brompton Road include floor-to-ceiling windows along the facade, a unique curved wooden ceiling, terrazzo flooring, a mirrored ceiling above the Forum space for Today at Apple sessions, a dozen Sicilian ficus trees with seating at the base of each planter, and more. Apple says the store is powered by 100% renewable energy.
