Due to “current events in Corsica”, the television channel has decided to deprogram its episode of Captain Marleau “Pace è salute” shot on the island by another titled “Le grand eight”.
While a new episode of Captain Marleau was scheduled for Friday August 19 on France 2, this one will ultimately not take place. In tribute to Corsica, the channel has decided to deprogram the episode entitled “Pace e salute, Marleau” shot on the island.
An episode entitled “The big eight” aired instead
“Due to the current events in Corsica, the episode of Captain Marleau, initially planned Pace è salute and filmed on the island, will be replaced by the episode The big eight”, announced France 2 this Friday August 19 in a press release, relayed by Le Figaro. Instead, another episode of the series will air in the evening. It is called “The big eight” and Marina Hands, JoeyStarr, Tom Villa and Serge Hazanavicius alongside Corine Masiero among the cast.
As a reminder, this Thursday, August 18, the island was hit by violent storms which cost the lives of 5 people, caused 20 injuries, including 4 serious, according to the report of the Ministry of the Interior the day before.
