Pizza Salvatoré will donate 100 large pizzas to organizations in Sorel-Tracy
By: Jean-Philippe Morin
In collaboration with Sysco, Pizza Salvatoré will donate 100 pizzas to community, sports, school and cultural organizations in the Sorel-Tracy region during the upcoming opening of its restaurant at 190, boulevard Fiset.
“As in every locality in which we operate, we want to make a real difference in the community. That’s why we donate 100 free large pizzas to organizations in the region when a new restaurant opens. This is a way for us to thank the citizens, as well as the city for welcoming us. This initiative is also a great opportunity for us to learn about the various issues in the area and to be able to get involved in the long term,” says Élisabeth Abbatiello, co-owner of the channel with her three brothers and her sister.
Any interested organization is invited to submit a request to [email protected]
Each year, Pizza Salvatoré hands out more than 2,000 free large pizzas in a multitude of locations in Eastern Canada with its food distributor Sysco.
Remember that the third generation of the family business acquired 190 boulevard Fiset last May and invested more than a million dollars in the project. Pizza Salvatoré was founded in 1964 by Italian immigrant Salvatoré Abbatiello and has been owned by the third generation since September 2018, made up of three brothers and two sisters. In all, 1,650 employees work in 56 pizzerias across Quebec.
