Jean-Jacques Bourdin had been removed from the antenna at the end of January, in the middle of the presidential campaign, when he was targeted by accusations of sexual assault. Charges he has always disputed “firmly”.
About a month later, journalist Fanny Agostini, former weather presenter for BFMTV-RMC, who then went through “Thalassa”had revealed to Mediapart to be at the origin of the complaint filed for attempted sexual assault.
In her complaint, she said that Jean-Jacques Bourdin had “grab the neck”and had “tried to kiss (him) several times”without ” to arrive at “in the swimming pool of a hotel in Calvi (Haute-Corse) in October 2013.
In mid-February, a second woman had filed a complaint for sexual assault, harassment and sexual exhibition, for facts dating back to the end of the 1980s. The investigation was dismissed in April for prescription, the deadline in this matter being six years.
” So happy “
The journalist, known for his tough interviews with politicians, was subsequently sacked in June by the Altice group, parent company of BFM TV and RMC.
In the meantime, Jean-Jacques Bourdin had been replaced by Apolline de Malherbe in the political interview at 8:30 a.m., the “prime time” of BFM TV. In addition, the political program “France in the eyes”, of which he had hosted the first issue with the candidate LR Valérie Pécresse, had been entrusted to Bruce Toussaint.
” Doing the job you love is a chance! “Commented Jean-Jacques Bourdin on Twitter early in the afternoon, talking about his media return. ” Mine is to inform you, ask questions, share with you. I’m so happy to meet you on #sudradio “.
The war reporter and companion of the host, Anne Nivat, also reacted on social networks. “Finally Jean-Jacques Bourdin is back to do what he loves, his job, his passion, supported by his public who follow him faithfully!” We so need serious, worked information, far from the ease of emotion, with simple and firm questions! »

He greeted “an immense professional who brings to the channel his rich experience, his deep knowledge of the files, the incomparable relevance of his interviews and of course his very strong empathy with the public. »
