OtterBox, RhinoShield, Spigen: which case to choose for your Apple Watch?

It is not easy to navigate when you want to buy an iPhone or Apple Watch shell on the internet. The references are numerous and it is difficult to know which brand to turn to, at the risk of ordering a little at random and ending up with an accessory with questionable finishes.

To guide you, we decided to test 3 covers for Apple Watch of reputable accessories, namely the CrashGuard NX from RhinoShield, the bumper “All Day” from Otterbox and the Tough Armor from Spigen. Sold between €15 and €25, they are available for the Apple Watch Series 7 and SE cases (40mm, 41mm, 44mm and 45mm): they will therefore be compatible with the majority of Apple watches in circulation. The tests were carried out on a Series 4, and it should be noted that only the Spigen hull is not offered for the small 40mm boxes.

The Otterbox “All Day” Case

This case is surely the simplest of the three: a very rigid one-piece case that clips onto the Apple Watch. It therefore has the advantage of putting on very quickly, which will be practical if you don’t plan to wear it every day. Several colors are available (blue, mauve, black…), these having the advantage of being rather discreet. This is a good point, because they will match more easily with different outfits.
