One pot pastas
Do you know the One Pot Pasta? This is’a revolutionary cooking technique which allows you to cook both the pasta and its filling in the same pan.
You need a saucepan or casserole large enough to hold the raw pasta, the ingredients for the sauce and a certain amount of water. The whole thing cooks over low heat for several minutes to obtain at the end a greedy and very melting result.
The water used to cook the pasta is completely absorbed, or used for the sauce and there is not even a need to drain!
Significant time savings the guarantee of a pasta dish that is never dry and especially much less dishes!
The choice of ingredients
For this recipe, you will need pasta, mushrooms and roquefort cheese. For the pasta, you can use whatever you prefer. Farfalle, penne, spaghetti… It’s up to you to choose according to your desires and the contents of your cupboard. You can also use wholemeal or semi-wholemeal pasta. You may need to increase the cooking time slightly.
In the recipe, we used Roquefort, a blue cheese cousin of gorgonzola. If you don’t like its taste or if you don’t have any on hand, you can choose another much less strong cheese such as Brie, Comté, Cantal, Cheddar, Pecorino or Chevre. The important thing is to have a cheese that melts relatively well to give this creamy aspect to the sauce!
Ingredients and making the recipe
To make this recipe that can feed 4 people, here are the necessary ingredients:
- 200g mushrooms
- 350g farfalle
- 1 onion
- 20 cl fresh cream
- 1L of water
- 150 g gorgonzola
- Salt pepper
Preparation of pasta with mushrooms and gorgonzola
- Finely chop the mushrooms and onion.
- In a saucepan, put all the ingredients and cook for 15 minutes over medium heat, stirring regularly.
- You can leave up to 25 minutes for even more melting pasta and a very creamy texture.
It’s ready ! All that’s left for us to do is serve your dish in soup plates. You can add nuts, herbs, chicken… The one pot pasta is endless!
