Joe Biden has arrived in London

The US president will be one of many political leaders to attend the ceremonies.

His arrival was expected. US President Joe Biden landed at Stansted Airport near London on Saturday evening where he is to attend the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II.

The tenant of the White House and his wife will go to pray on Sunday afternoon in front of the remains of the monarch and will be present, like many other leaders from around the world, at her funeral on Monday at Westminster Abbey at 10 a.m. GMT in front of 2000 guests.

This Saturday, several top leaders were already present in London. This is the case of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his wife, Sophie Trudeau, who were able to sign the book of condolences at Lancaster House, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
