Don’t forget the lyrics: the program deprogrammed after the death of Antoine Lenoir at 19, Nagui pays tribute to him

The program “Don’t forget the lyrics” in which the 19-year-old young man had filmed was not broadcast this Friday, July 8 at the request of his family.

Viewers had to do without their show this Friday. Antoine Lenoir, 19, was to be at the heart of Nagui’s game on France 2 on Friday. But the young boy tragically died in a car accident. As a result, an unprecedented decision was taken: that of not broadcasting the number initially planned for that day.

Nagui’s tribute

Instead, viewers discovered Nagui, his face closed, looking serious. At 6:40 p.m., the host delivered a 40-second message and explained that the channel should normally offer “the fourteenth game of Natasha’s journey”.

“This match opposed him to Antoine, we recorded it a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, a few days ago, Antoine suffered a tragic accident. His disappearance has left all his friends in mourning, obviously the team of Do not forget the words”, continued Nagui. And to add soberly: “We are wholeheartedly with his family, his relatives and his friends”.

“His entourage did not want the program in which Antoine Lenoir participated to be broadcast. We obviously respect their pain and we respect their decision. This is the reason why I now suggest that you review Natacha’s journey”, he explained and concluded.

On June 24, The Parisian announced the death of the 19-year-old young man in a car after hitting a heavy goods vehicle.

Sincere condolences to Anthony’s family. We recognize the whole class of @Nagui and the whole team of @NOPLPoff for respect in relation to the broadcast of the show. All my thoughts are with you. ud83dude22ud83dude4f pic.twitter.com/nh2SI0oESR
