The producer of PPNP brand pizzas (Prepared by our pros) warns of the presence of Listeria monocytogenes bacteria detected in one of the raw materials used in the composition of its products. This bacterium is the causative agent of listeriosis.

The what to do when in possession of the product is clearly stated by the brand:

A case reminiscent of Buitoni
This case reminds us of the scandal of Buitoni’s Fraîch’Up pizza range. The products contained the dangerous E.coli bacteria, identified in the flours intended for these preparations. VShe pizzas produced by the Caudry factory caused 56 cases of haemolytic uraemic syndrome (HUS) and infections. Two deaths were then deplored, including that of a 2.5-year-old boy.
The RappelConso whistleblower insists on the fact that the elderly, as well as immunocompromised people, are at greater risk. The latter must, in any case, be twice as vigilant. But these pizzas pose a risk to everyone’s health. This does not therefore exempt the rest of the French from paying attention as well. It is therefore highly recommended to get rid of these pizzas. You can also ask for a refund or an exchange to compensate you. But beware, the product recall procedure will end on November 9, 2022.
In case of symptoms (fever, headache, body aches), you must consult a doctor urgently.
People who have consumed the “products” mentioned above and who have fever, isolated or accompanied by headaches, and body aches, are invited to consult their doctor and report this consumption. Severe forms with neurological complications and maternal or fetal damage in pregnant women can also sometimes occur. Pregnant women as well as immunocompromised people and the elderly should be especially alert to these symptoms. Listeriosis is a disease that can be serious and has an incubation period of up to eight weeks.
