Inspired by authentic local relishes, often prepared and eaten during Durga Pujo, the most celebrated festival in the eastern region, Domino’s has introduced pizzas with famous Bangla flavors – Kasundi, Kosha and Malai. Domino’s, known for constantly innovating its menu to cater to the diverse tastes and preferences of consumers across India, has always considered the eastern region as one of its markets.
The launch of this new range is strategically aligned with the focus on Eastern India and the festivities people celebrate there. This is the first time that a QSR brand has created its menu inspired by Bangla cuisine and the flavors of the eastern region of India. Extensive research conducted by Domino’s to understand the tastes and preferences of consumers in the region revealed that local cuisines dominate consumers’ palates.
