Death of singer Daniel Lévi at the age of 60

The interpreter of Moïse in the musical The Ten Commandments has died at the age of 60.

Singer Daniel Lévi died this Saturday at the age of 60, report our colleagues from I24 News. He had been suffering from colon cancer since 2019.

The singer had made himself known with the famous “This blue dream” of the cartoon Aladdin then during the musical “The ten commandments” where he embodies Moses and performs “The desire to love”.

As soon as the singer’s death was announced, French personalities paid tribute to him. Cyril Hanouna, said to himself “very sad to learn of the death of Daniel Lévi. I think very strongly of his loved ones”. The presenter speaks of “an immense talent and an example of humility. We will miss him”, he wrote in a tweet.

The deputy of the 8th district of the French abroad, Meyer Habib speaks on twitter this Saturday “of a giant, a divine. (…) Attached to his roots, to Israel and to France”.
