The stand-up comedian, co-writer of the series Black-ish and series Big Mouth died Thursday, July 14, at the age of 28.

The causes of his death have not been disclosed. “Knight’s loved ones ask that their privacy be respected during this extremely difficult time,” a family spokesperson said.

Revealed by the one man show, Jak Knight then became known by doubling the voice of DeVon, character of the hit series Big Mouthof which he also scripted several episodes.
“To be one of the screenwriters is amazing, and to be in the same room with some of the brightest people in the world and to be at the table with people like Jordan Peele and Maya Rudolph. It’s surreal, but it’s a lot work,” he said of the Netflix series.
He also camped one of the main characters of the series Bust Downbroadcast since last spring on the American platform Peacock.
Jak Knight, whose career was on the rise, according to The Hollywood Reporter, also appears in the series Break with Sam Jaywhich he co-wrote.
He was about to make his film debut, in a film called First Time Female Director.
