+ 28.5% of orders processed this summer, between June 21 and August 21, i.e. 323,000 more than in 2021 for a total of 1.5 million meals over the period, the summer vintage is to say the least very good for the activity, according to the latest figures published by the operator specializing in delivery, click & collect and online ordering. According Deliverect, whose orders processed have increased by nearly 70% since the start of the year (vs. 2021), while Fridays and Sundays are generally the preferred days for home delivery, this summer orders were more spread out over the entire during the week and less subject to the usual weekend peaks, with the majority occurring between 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Paris, Toulouse and Marseille recorded the most delivery volume and VAE. On the list of the most ordered dishes, if the bowls and salads worked well, season helping, it is the traditional fried chicken which is the number one order, ahead of the pizza and the pasta dishes. A trend in line with last year’s catch rates with the burger coming in at number 4e position.
The delivery trend is not faltering and even remains solid, according to the latest figures from the online order management operator Deliverect, which takes stock of the 2022 summer season. It is still fried chicken that prances at the top of the dishes most ordered between June and August.
