Apple TV+’s August ‘Friday Night Baseball’ schedule goes live as pricing strategy continues

Apple, in conjunction with Major League Baseball (MLB), announced the Friday night baseball August schedule. The games are still available for free, exclusively on Apple TV+. According to a press release from the company, game assignments for broadcasters will be announced weekly.

Live coverage before and after the game will still be hosted by Lauren Gardner. Additionally, Gardner will be joined by a rotating group of analysts and former MLB players Carlos Peña, Cliff Floyd and Yonder Alonso. Former MLB umpire Brian Gorman is still expected to offer the analysis and interpretation of the rules.

Fans can also find additional content through new shows through the Apple TV app. Apple Exclusive, Countdown to the first throw preview the matches of the week, and MLB Daily Recap will summarize the previous content.

Additionally, in the Apple News app, fans can follow teams and watch personalized highlights from games. On Friday they can watch Friday night baseball plus MLB highlights and stories.
