Apple has just released the seventh beta version of watchOS 9. At the time of writing, the new incremental upgrade is available only to developers. The public beta will be released later today or tomorrow. And with each incremental beta, we get closer to the public release of watchOS 9.
Apple is releasing watchOS 9 beta 7 with firmware version 20R5359a. The latest incremental beta upgrade weighs just 156MB, compared to 210MB on the latest beta. The size confirms that this is a small upgrade that can be quickly installed on eligible Apple Watches.
As always, the new watchOS upgrade comes with new incremental iOS 16, iPadOS 16, and tvOS 16 beta releases. And if you have the Apple Watch Series 4 or newer, you can easily install the new software on your watch, all you have to do is join the Apple Developer Beta Program or the Public Beta Program.
Speaking of changes, the changelog hints at bug fixes and improvements. As we are close to the public release of watchOS 9, we cannot expect anything new in this version. With the fifth beta, Apple fixed the issue of third-party complications disappearing after restarting the watch. Now let’s see the installation steps.
