Apple Music: the creative director of the service leaves his post

The waltz of departures continues at Apple. Then, we just learned that larry jackson, the global creative director of Apple Music, has left the Cupertino company. The executive will make his last day at Apple on Monday, September 19. Larry Jackson joined Apple Music in 2014, shortly after acquiring Beats Music and Beats Electronics in May of the same year.

For Apple, this departure is not insignificant: Jackson is indeed a veteran of the music industry, who has notably held management positions at RCA, J Records and Interscope. Like Jimmy Iovine, Larry Jackson has a long list of contacts of personalities in which we find the names of Kanye West, Nicki Minaj or even Lil Wayne. The now ex-executive of Apple would also have facilitated the rapprochement between Tailor Swift and Apple Music so that the latter appears in the service’s advertisements…
