Alain Chabat will host a series of daily second-evening programs on TF1, on the model of American “late shows”, the channel announced on Friday, without specifying when the broadcast will begin. In a spot broadcast on social networks, TF1 promises a “late show with Alain Chabat, every evening at 11:00 p.m. … starting soon”.
This humorous video shows Alain Chabat and the actors Jamel Debbouze and Léa Drucker in a pastiche of a scene that has been widely circulated on social networks: the new King of England Charles III who gets angry because of a defective pen. Revealed within the comic quartet Les Nuls on Canal+ in the 80s and 90s, Alain Chabat has since become one of the most beloved personalities of French comedy, in the cinema as an actor and director and on television with the show Burger Quiz.
