The distributor has been operational since the beginning of July, but the inauguration took place last week with the entire Black Box team.

IA little over a year ago, Mr. Huard came to present his Black Box project at the town hall. A pizza distributor open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. His idea was already well prepared since he had thought of his location at the entrance to the village, in the commune of Pavillon-Sainte-Julie. All that remained was to find the final place of installation on this large square. With the agreement of the municipal council, Mr. Huard and his collaborators put their distributor into service on July 6th.

The inauguration took place last week with the entire Black Box team, Marie-Ange Chalvet, mayor, and Marie-Thérèse Leroy, departmental councillor. The story began in 2019, with the establishment of the first distributor in the town of Nogent-sur-Seine. During the year 2020, continuing the adventure, two other distributors were born in Poigny and Mouy-sur-Seine and today the municipalities of Géraudot, Courteranges, Provins, Pont-Sainte-Marie, Saint-André-les -Vergers and Le Pavillon-Sainte-Julie are continuing this project.

How it works ?

How does the Black Box work? After carefully choosing local products, the 12 varieties of pizza are made in the Nogent-sur-Seine laboratory and transported in refrigerated vehicles, daily, to the various points of sale in the region and in Seine-et-Marne. . Each pizza is brought in its box, placed in an automaton in the box provided for this purpose. When ordered, the box containing the pizza is taken out of its location, an articulated arm opens the box, a jack takes the pizza out to bring it into the forced-air oven so that it can cook for 3 minutes and then it is placed back in the box, the box is closed and presented to the customer or brought directly to the customer without going through the oven if he wishes to cook his order himself.

The distributor is connected in real time to Mr. Huart and his collaborators in order to respond as quickly as possible to the various disruptions: malfunctions, refueling, etc.

For the customer, nothing could be simpler, just go there to order or pick up their order made from the application. For chorizo, bacon bits and merguez sausages, the company has chosen to work with Huguier Frères. This century-old company is above all a family business which aims to offer products of rare quality and above all coming exclusively from Champagne-Ardenne and Seine-et-Marne. Since January 2021, the onions come from another local player such as the Fontenay farm, in order to benefit from their know-how and their quality products. As for honey, the hives are located in the territory of Nogent-sur-Seine. The Black Box distributor responds to new needs. The need to eat quickly, in a simple and tasty way.
