Jean Ndjock took over the pizzeria brasserie Le Trotteur, located at 2 bis rue des écoles in Neufchâtel-Hardelot. Jean is a business location advisor in the Somme. Last summer, a friend from Montreuil introduced him to the town of Neufchâtel-Hardelot, which he immediately fell in love with. The beauty of the countryside and the kindness of the inhabitants reminded him of his childhood holidays in the Dordogne.
His law studies in London, a training in finance, as well as his professional career, convinced his bank to trust him, and to allow him to take over Le Trotteur. It thus created eight permanent jobs to ensure its operation. Pizza making will start this weekend. The dough will be made on site and the pizzas will be topped with ingredients produced in the region. Le Trotteur’s special pizza will be topped with Caribbean coconut powder to highlight it. Major renovations to the facility are planned. The kitchen and toilets will be completely redone. This will be followed by the transformation of the first floor into a large dining room. Then that of the attic in the reception room for commemorations and family events. Le Trotteur is open all week from Monday 2 p.m. and on weekends until 2 a.m.
