A “Chef’s Table Pizza” is coming soon to Netflix

Our favorite culinary docu-series, “Chef’s Table,” will be back for a new season in September. After following the greatest chefs in the world and devoting several episodes to the barbecue, the program will this time focus on pizza.

“Chef’s Table Pizza,” which launches on Netflix on September 7, will take a closer look at one of the world’s favorite foods, through the eyes of those who have mastered it.

The pizzaioli featured for the eighth season of the show are Chris Bianco from Pizzeria Bianco in Phoenix, Arizona, Sarah Minnick of Lovely’s Fifty Fifty in Portland, Oregon and Ann Kim of Minneapolis, Minnesota’s Pizzeria Lola and many others, like Yoshihiro Imai from the restaurant monks in Kyoto, Japan. Of course, the show will make a detour to the cradle of pizza, Italy, with Gabriele Bonci, owner of several restaurants in Rome, but also Franco Pepe from Pepe in Grani in Caiazzo, near Naples, considered by many to be the best pizza maker in the world.

Chef’s Table is a series by David Gelb, creator of “Jiro Dreams of Sushi”. Each episode is breathtakingly beautiful, blending culinary cinematography with deeply personal stories from the world’s best chefs.

If no trailer has been unveiled for the moment, we already know that we will not miss this season for anything in the world!
