This week’s little short film is a stunning work that reflects both a sense of humor and drama. They have animated in 2D and 3D and it fits perfectly together. If you just check out how they worked with the perspective of depth, then we can see that they have devoted much time and care for those six minutes of animated brilliance with a beautiful style.

Soon we are entering a new week so here is last week “weekly video”. Synesthesia is a very creative, inventive and inspiring short films. The video shows how people feel different emotions of various objects. Quote: “A condition in which one type of stimulation evokes the sensation of another, as when the hearing of a sound produces the visualization of a color.”
Weekly Video – The Seed by Johnny Kelly
This is how the creator describe how this video, ‘a two-minute voyage through Animated Nature’s lifecycle, fell Wing The Trial and Tribulations Of A Humble apple seed’. They have spent much time to create this creative short film. All 2D and 3D have been created using software made by Adobe. We must also mention the Swedish paper modeler Elin Svensson.

They Have Used Both real-life pictures and their own constructed scenes that they have made in various programs. It is directed by Lauri Anne Proud’hon and Ludovic Rami Sand Raina.
Weekly Video: The Light by Ihsu Yoon
With visual effects you can create truly amazing and wonderful things. Ihsu Yoon has managed both to build together a really creative 3d animation and even composed the music himself. The name “The Light” is a great fit, because that is just how awesome and detailed the lights look. Around the internet you can find tutorials that show you how to create a roughly similar impact. Most people probably are using Cinema4D and After Effects to create something in this genre. Enjoy!
Television is a Drug by Beth Fulton
Here we have a fun little video that is based on a really good poem by Todd Alcott, Television. Beth Fulton has done it all as a rhythmic motion typography design with images that pop up, we can also see some vintage / old-fashioned effects that are really well done created. One wonders what led her to create just such a short film as this one, where all ideas come from.
